New Year resolutions have been
broken, but the laws of the game
of bowls are unchanged.
This panel is in receipt of a
galaxy of enquiries and requests
to print in this column as 'Inter-
pretations of Laws'.
Obviously, this is not done. Why?
Simply because the Law Commit-
tee of Bowls Australia is the sole
arbiter of the laws of the game,
and even they conform to the
decisions made by World Bowls.
REPLIES TO QUESTIONS
Question: A player brings a set
of 4 bowls to a game of 2-bowl
triples or fours. Can the player
change bowls (from the same set)
during the game?
Answer: Yes, there is no provi-
sion in the Laws of the Sport of
Bowls to prevent this, but the
bowls MUST be from the same set.
